Every scenario carries this label, on screen and on any document exported from it. A scenario answers “if these assumptions held, what would follow?” — it does not assert that the assumptions hold. Scenario outputs are classified as illustrative scenarios in the data-confidence taxonomy, and can never be cited as a project figure.

Why scenarios are labelled so heavily
A modelled figure circulates. It gets extracted into a slide, then a memo, then a press article, and by the third step the assumptions have been lost and the number reads as a projection. Labelling at the point of generation — and in every export — is the only control that survives that journey.
