What Happens Next
Where an enquiry goes, and what it can and cannot produce
Set out in advance, because the most common complaint about an institutional contact form is not that the reply was slow but that nobody said what the reply would be.

Routed by type
The enquiry type you select determines which function receives it. An investment enquiry does not sit in a general inbox waiting to be forwarded to somebody who can answer it — that routing is the reason the field exists.

Recorded, not filed
Enquiries are recorded against the registry so that a question about a specific programme is visible to the function that owns it. Nothing you send becomes a public record, and nothing is shared with a third party.

Answered against evidence
A reply states what is on the record and what is not. Where the answer is that a figure does not exist yet, that is the answer you will get rather than an estimate produced to fill the gap.
What this channel cannot do
- Register a supplier, a bidder or a vendor. NBP runs no procurement of its own and cannot pre-qualify anyone for a government one.
- Confirm a capital figure, a return, a delivery date or an approval. None exists on any initiative in the registry, and one will not be produced in correspondence.
- Grant access to a data room. Access follows a recorded mandate and a permission, both of which are set in the investor portal rather than by request.
- Accept an unsolicited project proposal for publication. A record enters the registry through preparation and assurance, not through an inbox.
None of this is a brush-off. Each limit exists because the alternative is a claim NBP cannot support — a pre-qualification it has no authority to grant, a figure no study has produced, an approval no government has given. Saying so at the point of contact is cheaper for everyone than saying it after a proposal has been written.
